I am a painter of pictures, reluctant to say artist. SU has been a great resource for inspiration both for what I want my paintings to look like, and for what I hope to forever avoid. And forever is a long time. I seek out caffeine, bookstores and salsa that melts most plastics.

I'll pass. But what a good way to show off an unusual or new artist to the masses who otherwise wouldn't have a clue.

Advice and FAQ's and journals and articles! I'm going to be a sponge for this guys art website. However, $110 for a dvd is somewhat steep. (Somewhat? How about "it is"). It's fine if that's a 4 hour studio time with the artist himself, but halving that (at least) would approach the range of more reasonable. I can't imagine he actually sells any. But hey, get it if you can, I guess. (My paintings are now being sold for $2,000,000 + tax, by the way.)

Interesting use of movement, whether it be physically or through time. I'd like to take a sit-down with her and learn to do the block printing she does.

I've used MySpace for the Art Fair people wishing to see a website. This was easy for me to create just to fill that demand, however, after reading this article, I went through and cleaned it up; made it barebones and straight to the point. It's not just for musicians.

hmm, and the retro designs all happen to be hand-drawn. +1 humans, -1 Photoshop.

Makes me anxious for the city-wide garage sales next month, but not too anxious for fear of wishing my summer away. I'm doing this project with my niece's vanity. If I'd have had all green buttons though, i would've made sure to stick a couple of pink & orange ones in there for a more interesting scheme. Otherwise it looks like St. Patrick's Day.

There's a group of us that get together for games and food (what else is there, really?) I'm confident we'll be playing 1KBCG soon, staying up 'til the wee hours, exhausted from laughter. Some of the examples on this site had me in tears, but mostly because I was trying hard to stifle my giggles while at the office.

We will be using this as part of our upcoming Paint & Draw Workshops. When the paintings are finished, but not yet dry, the kids will sprinkle sea salt on top to make interesting patterns for their landscapes.

Mostly I was happy to find this site because I've been looking for a backpack that'd suit Veruca just right. However, I also did a little poking around on here, and there is a lot of fun (if not girlie) stuff. Move along if you're going to feel like mocking me.
